VMware Player version 6

Just about a year after the last major update, VMware Player version 6.0 is now available.

VMware Player allows you to run just about any operating system as a virtual machine on your Windows PC or Linux machine. It offers easy drag-and-drop between the host system and the virtual machine and many other features. This is the best way to test a new OS, especially beta versions.

For commercial use VMware Player Plus cost $100, but for personal use, VMware Player is available as a free download: Go to vmware.com hover the pointer on the Downloads tab and click Player.
